An honouring of missing and murdered women and girls through film, drum song and audience discussion. In partnership with the Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival at the Winnipeg Cinematheque. Crossing Communities was one of the organizers of this event and screened Butterfly a video created in collaboration between Jackie Traverse and Crossing Communities.

Women and Girls in the Sex Trade screening to Foster Parents, September 2007
Alexus Young a two-spirited woman and Crossing Communities Member led a discussion of Women and Girls in the Sex Trade with a group of foster parents who have children connected to the sex trade in their care.

Deep Bay Artists' Residency at Riding Mountain, August 13-26, 2007
Crossing Communities Art Project's Artistic Director and Founder Edith Regier spent one week as Artist in Residence at Deep Bay, Riding Mountain as part of her residency she presented Pictures of Self-Harm at the Riding Mountain Visitor's Centre.
